Since 2017, employees of Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives volunteer time, talent and treasure to support Kentucky’s Ronald McDonald Houses and children battling sicknesses. To help their guests who have a child in the hospital, co-op employees work year round by preparing meals, landscaping, cleaning, holiday decorating and hosting an annual Wish List Drive.

Since 2011, we’ve proudly sponsored the Special Olympics Kentucky Summer Games that take place at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond. The competitions include track and field, rhythmic gymnastics, bocce and flag football. Our co-ops supply more than 100 volunteers to help run their largest event of the year.
Co-ops offer a Conservation Clubhouse presentation featuring a hands-on event with non-venomous snakes and reptiles. Along with the native animal experience, students learn about renewable energy options and how to use energy efficiently. Co-ops also offer scholarships and send students to the annual Washington Youth Tour. School groups are invited to tour our Cooperative Solar farm and other facilities as well.
